Conventional
Our conventional style buildings are for those who desire a building constructed on a concrete foundation with studded interior walls. The standard for a conventional building is setting the trusses 2 foot on center and studded walls 16 inches on center.
The following diagram details each component we include for a basic conventional building:
1. 24 x 8″ Concrete footing with 1/2″ rebar
2. 3 Rows of 8″ concrete blocks
3. Treated 2 x 8″ plate on top of blocks
4. 2 x 4″ Studs-16″ on center
5. 7/16″ OSB on sides
6. 5/8″ OSB for the roof decking
7. Plywood clips between the trusses
8. 15 lb. Felt paper
9. 25-Year, 3-tab shingles
10. 1′ Overhang-closed-in
11. Vinyl siding
