Conventional Garages

Conventional style buildings are constructed on a concrete foundation with studded interior walls. A conventional building's standard sets the trusses 2′ on center and studded walls 16″ on center.

The following details each component we include for a basic conventional building:

  • 24 x 8″ Concrete footing with 1/2″ rebar
  • 3 Rows of 8″ concrete blocks
  • Treated 2 x 8″ plate on top of blocks
  • 2 x 4″ Studs-16″ on center
  • 7/16″ O.S.B. on sides
  • 5/8″ O.S.B. for the roof decking
  • 30 lb. Felt paper
  • 35-Year, dimensional shingles
  • 1′ Overhang-closed-in
  • Vinyl siding
